A Focal Point


This beautiful bird bath is in a hillside garden in West Meade just in front of a retaining wall. It is more successful as a focal point than it is as a bird bath, for birds are finicky and prefer  large and shallow basins to splash and preen in. None the less, this pedestal ornament is striking with its sun on stone motif. Especially in these days of early darkness when the sun  seems weary-
