Here are some photos I took today as I was working in a West Meade garden grooming and planting. The clematis pictured is “Duchess of Albany”, a clematis I consider the most beautiful and elegant. Everything about this vine is perfect, and its flower far surpasses that of the larger and gaudier clematis varieties.
The last photo is of a medium sized annual ageratum, with a far more attractive habit than that of the stubby lumpish dwarves the garden centers usually sell. Note how difficult it is to capture its true color in a photo.
